This series revolves around using the player’s real life orientation information collected from the Cardboard viewer to steer a virtual character.
On top of learning about head gesture steering, you’ll be exposed to design approaches that will prevent common issues associated with VR experiences.
Game Design Overview
User will steer a fish at a constant speed throughout a underwater landscape.
Goal is to collect all the coins in the scene.
When the character collides with a coin, an arrow will appear that will point in the next coins direction.
A shark NPC will chase the fish character if they get too close to each other.
If the fish touches the shark, it will disappear and the game will end.
